On September 24, 2008, itswellness was initially founded as an NPO to support cancer patients and their families. As we mark our 15th anniversary, we extend our deepest gratitude to all who have supported us over the years.

Since COVID-19 was reclassified as a Category 5 infectious disease in May 2023, itswellness has resumed regular wellness tours and forest bathing experiences. This autumn, we will conduct tours at Hamarikyu Gardens, East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, Kitanomaru Park, Meiji Shrine, Atago Mountain, Shinjuku Gyoen, and the Institute for Nature Study, with continued safety measures in place.

We produced a forest bathing experience for business professionals was held at Meiji Shrine.

itswellness has been selected for Service Grant’s pro bono collaboration project, launching a business wellness forest bathing initiative. Over the next three months, we will work closely with young professionals in their 20s to advance the project.

itswellness' representative participated in Dr. Li’s 'One Health Forest Bathing' training at Shioji no Mori, Fukuoka, experiencing the ancient earthen fortifications, ruins, and cypress forests. The 'One Health' concept, endorsed by WHO, G7 Summits, and COP15, integrates human, animal, and environmental health. itswellness is committed to actively contributing to One Health initiatives.

At the 7th Kanto-Koshinetsu Branch Conference of the Japanese Society of Intensive Care Medicine, we exhibited a forest bathing booth featuring an introduction to forest bathing benefits and an aromatherapy room spray-making workshop.

Our organization's representative (a mental health social worker) participated in a forest bathing experiment led by Dr. Li at Akasawa Natural Recreation Forest.

itswellness has fully renewed its website, incorporating feedback from the 'itswellness Website Revamp Project' supported by Service Grant from September to December 2022. The new site now supports tour reservations.

With support from 'Regional Trading Company Aki Ota' in Aki Ota Town, Hiroshima, we hosted a forest bathing experience at Hijiyama Park for local residents.
