Tour & Experience

Q. What is an itswellness guided tour? How is it different from a nature tour?
A. itswellness guided tour offers wellness tours and forest bathing experiences. Each tour is led by a professional guide who takes you to scenic locations with cultural and historical significance. If you plan to participate with a stroller, wheelchair, or cane, our wellness tour guide will adjust the route in advance. Please contact us in advance to discuss any necessary arrangements.
Q. Is there an age restriction for the guided tour? Also, can I participate with children?
A. Our guided tours follow a relaxed itinerary and are suitable for all age groups who can walk or move independently. However, for certain tours conducted in mountainous or steep areas, we may provide recommendations regarding age and fitness levels. If you are looking for a tour that best suits your physical condition, please feel free to contact us through the inquiry form.

Children are also welcome on most of our guided tours, as these experiences provide valuable opportunities for families to deepen their connection with nature. In general, children under 12 years old (before their 12th birthday) qualify for the child rate. However, age classifications for children may vary on booking platforms other than the official website, so please check in advance.

Logistics & Guidelines

Q. What time do guided tours usually start? Are there any tours that start later in the morning?
A. Guided tours are typically held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the morning and from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the afternoon. Tours that include meals or activities may have different start times. Please check the details of each tour for specific start times.

Additionally, during limited seasons, some tours start as early as 8:00 AM. This is because the town is quieter, the air is fresher, and the morning atmosphere is very pleasant—an experience that has been well-received.

For those arriving on early morning flights or who prefer a more relaxed morning, we also offer guided tours starting at 11:00 AM. If you have a preferred start time, please let us know. We can arrange a private tour with a guide to match your schedule.
Q. Is there transportation available from the hotel to the tour meeting point? Also, what should I do if I am running late for the guided tour?
A. Some guided tours require participants to meet at a designated location and dismiss at the same spot. For these tours, please arrive at the specified meeting point at the date and time mentioned in the tour details. The tour will also end at the same location.

Other guided tours include transportation from your hotel or a designated location, or they may provide specific travel arrangements. For these tours, the tour details will indicate the pick-up time and location or the transportation method you should use. Please check the details of each tour for more information.

If you anticipate being late for the guided tour, please contact the phone number provided in the tour details as soon as possible. The guide may be able to adjust the meeting location based on your estimated arrival time. However, if you arrive more than 60 minutes after the scheduled start time or fail to notify us of your delay (no-show), your booking will be considered a same-day cancellation, and a 100% cancellation fee will apply. Please be aware of this policy in advance.
Q. Are there any specific rules or guidelines to follow during the guided tour?
A. All guided tours have guidelines to ensure that every participant is respected and can fully enjoy their experience. These guidelines will be explained by the wellness tour guide at the beginning of the tour.
Q. Are there any restrictions on camera use?
A. In itswellness guided tours, participation solely for the purpose of posting on social media or video-sharing platforms is discouraged, as it may disrupt the relaxation experience of other participants.

Since the primary goal of this guided tour is to help participants connect with nature through their senses and relax, we recommend limiting the use of digital devices such as video cameras, smartphones, and tablets as part of a digital detox. However, at scenic spots such as hilltops with beautiful natural views, the wellness tour guide will schedule breaks and adjust the route to allow participants to enjoy photography.

During the tour, we encourage you to prioritize your own relaxation and immerse yourself in the natural surroundings.
Q. Can I extend my stay at the tour location after the guided tour?
A. For guided tours that start and end at the same location, you are free to explore the area at your own pace after the tour concludes.

For tours that include transportation, leaving the tour midway requires proper arrangements. Please consult your wellness tour guide in advance or during the tour if you wish to do so.
Q. What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the guided tour?
A. In the case of light rain, the guided tour will proceed as scheduled.

If there is heavy rain, a storm, or other severe weather conditions, we will notify you by 5:00 PM on the previous day regarding the cancellation of the tour or the possibility of rescheduling. This notification will be sent to your registered email address.
Q. What should I wear and bring for the guided tour?
A. Most guided tours can be enjoyed in standard outdoor attire. Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for walking or jogging and well-fitted walking shoes.

We recommend bringing a water bottle or mineral water for hydration during the tour. Additionally, depending on the weather and conditions, you may want to bring a light jacket, rain gear, light snacks (such as energy bars), and insect repellent.
Q. Are restrooms available?
A. Regarding restroom availability, wellness tour guides schedule restroom breaks at regular intervals for most guided tours. If you suddenly need to use the restroom or have any health concerns during the tour, please feel free to inform your wellness tour guide.
